Curtis Yarvin is an influential blogger who seems to be well connected with many on the right and many silicon valley tech- bros.
Some argue that he is heavily influential in the Republican Party and that his writings are basically guiding Trump and others’ behavior.
Trump has mentioned things like running for a third term… and recently he also mentioned potentially deporting American citizens who break laws to El Salvador.
Whats really interesting to me is that Yarvin, years before now literally mentioned the idea of the president picking a high ranking tech CEO to come in and manage the government. We saw this play out with Musk. Yarvin also mentioned something called “RAGE” (retire all government employees”. This was also years prior to today, and we saw this play out with the government firings. He has also cited FDR as an example of how a republican president should behave and wield power once elected. According to Yarvin, society is in need of a hard reset or a reboot, not just gradual political changes.
Yarvin thinks the president should basically wield power like a Monarch, and avoid any limitations imposed by the court system. Didnt the Supreme court recently order Trump to bring a deportee back from El Salvador, but Trump refused.
Do you think we are heading toward more of a monarchy sort of system where Trump can wield power like a monarch?
Yarvin also mentioned the method of declaring a state of emergency in order to gain more power.
