I love that video. Rag dolling down a slope is beyond frightening. Scarier than falling 30 or so feet, having done both. Haven't skied this trail in 3 years and am probably too old now, but this is fall down the steepest tree cut train in America. 900 vertical feet, 19 seconds.bing.com

Video never fully shows how steep the ski run is. It always flattens it out. I bet that looks like you’re going straight down when you’re on it.

^^ Its a continual 55 degree slope. 90 is straight down. The weirdest thing is that until they regraded the top a couple of years ago, all you could see from the top, was the bottom and nothing in-between. Crested Butte is an unknown super-tough mountain. Its where I took my 35 foot fall off a cliff. Rambo is scarier.

Haven’t gone skiing in years, too cold for me, but in my business I ran swing stages and used bosun chairs attached to rappelling equipment. Rappelling down the side of a 3-400 foot tall building is a kick that never gets old, and on a windy day you’ll get slammed into the wall while you’re working. You can wear protective gear all day it still hurts like hell.

Weird how someone getting hurt like that seems funny to some.
