Isn’t the point of having a review approval process to filter out bad reviews? Seems kind of pointless if they’re all displayed together. Feels counterintuitive.
I like seeing the rejected reviews. I think it helps potential reviewers to see what gets published and rejected and what the standard for a good review is.
They were visible for a while. Founder added a selection menu where you could see published/published and pending/rejected or all of the above. Then the rejected reviews disappeared for a while. Now they are back, but without the menu. If you read the forum, you’ll see the founder is tinkering and we all should know by now that the site features come and go while he’s doing his magic programmer shit. Just wait a bit and he’ll clean it up.
Go to "Listings" and then go to the club of your interest. Click on the club name and all the reviews and discussions for that club appear in chronological order. Scroll down to a rejected review which is in red. I did this for Desires in Providence. The first rejected review had for one of the reasons not enough detail of what happened in the VIP.

Sometimes it's a close call whether a review is approved or rejected. A rejected review can provide some valuable information.
