Put them here. I separated "political" and "non-political" because I know if I put them in the front room, some of you won't be able to help yourselves.

The bromance between Trump and Musk will eventually fall apart and the fallout will be ugly. Both of their egos cannot sustain being in the same room for such an extended period of time.

AOC, some of the constituents that got her where she is have already turned on her, Pelosi just knocked her down a few pegs and eventually someone/something big like the rest of the Squad are going to label her as a fraud. Doesn’t matter, if she eventually gets voted out she already had millions and will probably go host a podcast or talk show and still make a lot of money.

ANTIFA and BLM riots resume in the wake of Perry's acquittal and Trump's win.

MTG and other far-right extremists go after Trump, Elon, and Vivek for their support of bringing more foreign workers into American workforce openings.

All of the politicians promising to obstruct ICE quietly fold when Homan makes good on his promises to deport illegals-starting with the known criminals.

The military will be deployed to enforce border security - maybe even in response to a cartel attack ICE and CBP at the southern border

Donald Trump will have a major medical event - He's 78, obese, post-COVID, and taking the most stressful job in the world. Actually - does anyone ever wonder how all of these old men do this job without suffering a coronary/aneurysm/stroke during their time in office?

Nothing changes. I look at this country fail for another year. My life stays the exact same as it has for 4+ decades, meaning I spend the same amount of money, I ski, gamble, golf and go to strip clubs. In November I go to my 50th reunion and the time capsule is opened. My prediction as a senior in high school that I will not have children because in 50 years because life in America and the world would be so awful turns out to be the one thing I predicted as a young person that came true....to my regret.

25 for 25:

1. Congressional infighting quickly derails most of the Republican agenda. The only advances will be at the margins (such as deporting felons, not all illegals).

2. Inflation comes back, sparking a need to increase interest rates. Stocks, bonds, real estate, and other asset valuations fall as our credit rating gets downgraded. Trump gets blamed despite it not being his doing. Precious metals increase in value; crypto doesn't because while it hedges inflation, Trump will get distracted and promoting it will no longer be a priority.

3. Joe Biden's health deteriorates rapidly; this happens when people lose their purpose. He ends the year in hospice and dies in early 2026.

4. Nancy Pelosi's health also deteriorates rapidly; hip fractures are not only horrible things in and of themselves but often a sign of other disease processes, and she goes around the same time as Biden.

5. Ukraine fighting continues, even as they run out of fighters, as they'll fight to the last and Russia won't abandon their maximalist goals. We realize the country will be desolated for 100 years.

6. Democrats continue to take Trump literally but not seriously (leading to shrieking about the apocalypse every other day again); Republicans continue to take Trump seriously but not literally (and have to rationalize the continual nonsense that comes out his mouth).

7. DEI budgets get slashed in corporations as they no longer need to virtue-signal to the government. DEI becomes MEI (merit, excellence and intelligence). DEI budgets get slashed in government and academia, but not much changes here, as the same functions get placed elsewhere within the organization.

8. There are violent left-wing demonstrations on Jan 6 and Jan 20, but no invasion of the Capitol as we're prepared for it.

9. Infighting won't just be a Republican thing. Democrats will fight, but it will be more of the younger vs older generation than left vs. center-left. There's a lot of resentment brewing. Dems' next generation of leadership will come from the states, not Congress. The Squad becomes irrelevant as even Dems realize they're a liability.

10. China continues to harass Taiwan, as well as Filipino and Japanese vessels in territorial waters, but does not invade Taiwan.

11. Trump continues to turn over cabinet secretaries left and right. If RFK gets named to HHS, he's out within a year and is replaced by Vivek Ramaswamy, who starts getting whispers for a serious presidential run, even over JD Vance.

12. Terrorists (not just gangsters) who crossed the Biden border commit a fatal attack, prompting calls for another ban on immigration from certain countries. Democrats downplay it like "some people did something" and call it racist.

13. DOGE shuts down after accomplishing very little. Tesla stock dives as a result. Musk goes back to running his companies. See #11 for what happens to Vivek.

14. More major research comes out detailing the harm of "gender affirming care" for minors. Like in Colorado and Tennessee we will have another LGBTQ mass shooter. Only in Kash Patel's FBI, we won't hide the manifesto out of fears of "inflaming hatred."

15. More documents and witnesses come forward detailing Biden's corruption in Ukraine and China, and it runs deeper than anyone has believed. Joe pardons Jim and possibly others before he leaves office.

16. On a positive note, the push to ban phones in schools gains momentum.

17. The backlash against private health insurers and pharmacy benefit managers grows, more abuses come forward, but both parties continue to be blind as a bat on matters of healthcare reform. A big stink is made but nothing meaningful changes.

18. Electric vehicle mandates get rolled back as they realize neither the charging infrastructure nor power grid can handle it.

19. At least one major lawmaker from each side switches their registration to independent, but no major challenge to the party duopoly occurs.

20. Mounjaro/Zepbound (same active ingredient) eclipses Ozempic in sales, and is on track to become the most successful drug in history. Their data looks amazing.

21. Neither Canada, Greenland, nor Panama become American territories. By March, everyone forgets that this was a thing.

22. Gaza fighting ends and the whole miserable "state" of Palestine, with one of the most fucked up cultures in the world, goes back to being ruled by Hamas-like hardliners (even if they are not technically Hamas). A major Hamas official gets assassinated in Qatar. Israel does not forget.

23. Israel continues to bulldoze Palestinian settlements in the West Bank, but public opinion does not change. Netanyahu is too beholden to the Ultra-Orthodox parties to stop this.

24. Another assassination attempt is made on Trump. Iran will be found to be behind at least one of the three.

25. We'll still fight like cats and dogs here, and no one will change anyone else's mind. The Puddy Tat will continue to shove liberal faces into his litter box!

Trump signs day 1 executive order to prevent boys/males from playing in girls/woman sports. Numbers are currently so minimal in NCAA sports that isn’t not impactful. US seems reduced participation in youth sports overall as small towns in the US can’t field teams/leagues in tee ball and or under 10 rec leagues.

^^ Not impactful?
So, a few dudes whipping their dicks out while they look around at all the naked tits and ass is not really a big deal, but if there were more of them it would be a bigger concern?

There is currently 10 trans athletes in the NCAA (out of 540,000). The NCAA has rules and levels of decorum that is upheld. Has what you just posted actually occurred and has been proven, or just Internet forum BS?

^It takes time for progressives to fuck up an entire generation of children, so it is unsurprising that since this ignorance and stupidty is fairly recent, most abused children haven't attained college age yet. Can't progressive homos just suck cock and get ass fucked without pretending they're sucking a girl's cock and taking it up the ass form "her"?

Seriously, I predict that Trump has a very unproductive first 100 days. He brought most of the Republican congressional majority into his cabinet. The replacement elections aren't until April? He will try to force through what Congress cannot by Executive Order, but the dems and their allies will file suits in liberal districts and get judicial injunctions in place blocking the EOs.

5. Trump said that he planned to bring Ukraine and Russia to the negotiating table relatively soon post inauguration. Letting this continue without a forced ceasefire is literally breaking a campaign promise.

7. I agree that DEI won't really die out. It's just going to be scaled back and repackaged in a few years. The problem is Black Rock and Vanguard. It's a case of "follow the money". It will just be invested in a different manner. I believe the problem is extremist ruined it by being too obnoxious. But it is what it is.

10. China probably doesn't want the risk of dealing with the US Navy. The only incentive they have to move forward with attacking Taiwan is assuming the US will take a submissive stance on helping an ally (see Ukraine). I agree with you on this one.

16. Okay......, I honestly think the 10th amendment applies here. Honestly this is county level government jurisdiction. It's almost impossible to monitor without resources from the state backing the schools. Personally, this is a waste of taxpayer money.

21. The question then becomes: Why is Trump still pushing this? It's political theatre that nobody asked for.

22/23. We need to stop pretending the entire Israel vs Islamic World is anything but a money laundering operation for the MIC. I agree Israel has a right to exist. I also believe the other countries have a right to exist. It's an intentional cycle.

Great predictions.

"5. Trump said that he planned to bring Ukraine and Russia to the negotiating table relatively soon post inauguration. Letting this continue without a forced ceasefire is literally breaking a campaign promise."

We can bring them to the table with the threat of ending aid, but we can't force them to stop fighting. Russia is in a zugzwang too--if they withdraw, they lose face; if they win, they have to rebuild Ukraine. This sort of "trench warfare" has proven remarkably stable. I'm not sure Trump can offer either of them an off-ramp they'd take.

"7. I agree that DEI won't really die out. It's just going to be scaled back and repackaged in a few years. The problem is Black Rock and Vanguard. It's a case of "follow the money". It will just be invested in a different manner. I believe the problem is extremist ruined it by being too obnoxious. But it is what it is."

Corporations aren't true believers in any ideology other than the almighty dollar. With Democrats in power, it behooved them to show their DEI virtue. With Republicans in power, they won't. On the other hand, academics _are_ true believers, have funding from nitwit billionaires who gave them big bucks when it was cool, and the government is very, very difficult to change. I think Trump can cleanse the military of that nonsense, but not the rest of it.

"10. China probably doesn't want the risk of dealing with the US Navy. The only incentive they have to move forward with attacking Taiwan is assuming the US will take a submissive stance on helping an ally (see Ukraine). I agree with you on this one."

The PLA Navy has been harassing Japan and the Philippines for a while. Taiwan, the problem is taking Taiwan intact. China has numbers and arms, but if they can't take, say, TSMC fabs, intact, the invasion will not be worth the cost. It will take some time to build up their military capabilities to this level.

"16. Okay......, I honestly think the 10th amendment applies here. Honestly this is county level government jurisdiction. It's almost impossible to monitor without resources from the state backing the schools. Personally, this is a waste of taxpayer money."

I'm not saying this will come from on high. That would never work, it's too local. But localities are starting to adopt it.

"21. The question then becomes: Why is Trump still pushing this? It's political theatre that nobody asked for."

Same reason Trump says a lot of outlandish crap; it gets him attention, and negotiating leverage. If Biden, shit, any other politician were to say that, they'd laugh it off. But because it's Trump, they take it seriously. It shows how deep Trump is in everyone's head.

"22/23. We need to stop pretending the entire Israel vs Islamic World is anything but a money laundering operation for the MIC. I agree Israel has a right to exist. I also believe the other countries have a right to exist. It's an intentional cycle."

Ukraine is a much bigger money laundering operation. The US has sent $175 billion in aid to Ukraine since the war started. Aid to Israel is only a few billion a year. Basically, I'm predicting that things will go back to where they were before October 7, only with a lot more corpses.

We aren't going to solve these millennia-old grudges. Israel doesn't give a fuck what the rest of the world says; the whole world has been condemning them since the start. Palestine has Iran pulling its strings and financing them; Israel will try to root all of them out, but it's an ideology that will always find adherents, and no one is going to invade Iran any time soon. Thankfully, the Trump regime won't be giving Khameini rusty trombones like Obama and Biden did, but Iran's tendrils in the region run deep.

Palestinians have an utterly fucked up culture that raises their kids to hate Jews, Israel, and America. That takes generations to reverse. There's a reason no other Arabs want them. They used to live in Jordan, who wants none of them. Nor do Lebanon or Egypt.

That's why I say the situation will go back to status quo ante.

7/17/25 is my over/under on the last date Trump and Musk will ever refer to each other, much less be seen with each other
Agree Biden dies within two years
2017 tax cuts will be extended by slim party line votes in each house
Tariffs will be imposed on a few categories of goods from a handful of countries, with ample exemptions so that nobody here really gets screwed except farmers who face retaliatory tariffs, and, possibly the housing industry if Canada gets hit with tariffs on lumber
Alito retires. James Ho is the most likely replacement

^ Alito? Interesting, I thought Thomas was older and in poorer health. Sotomayor isn't in great health either, she's old and has type 1 diabetes.

There might be an uproar if Trump replaces Thomas with a non-black person though. I don't know what the FedSoc's list looks like.

Puddy: Can't think of a prominent conservative Black jurist on the federal bench. Aileen Cannon is Colombian so she could probably pass muster.
I just heard or read somewhere that Alito is fed up and ready to get out, and some of his public statements support that. Thomas is older but his rage sustains him.
Sotomayor will try to hang on for dear life till '29, just like Ginsburg tried and failed to do in '20.
My other prediction is that Vance's face is going to start showing up on milk cartons, but that's true of most Veeps.

@Manuel - Interesting thought. I haven't followed the judicial bench as closely as I used to. But Trump doesn't _need to_ keep the seat black or female to satisfy his base. I assume James Ho is Asian? That's "white adjacent" according the wokies, but it still counts.

Interesting that Sotomayor would try to hang on. RBG was the ultimate liberal jurist for a long time but she was also good friends with the conservatives and still tried to hold on (almost did!). Justices are known to be chummy with one another but Sotomayor seems less concerned with comity. (I hear she's dumb as a bucket of coals though.)

VPs disappear but Biden picked Harris for demographics and Trump actually seems to think of Vance as a successor (ideologically he is a Trumpling) and might raise his profile. We shall see...
