Then they try to manipulate the Supreme Court nomination process to install the single most leftist former member of Congress into the court. Hypocrisy much?

It will never happen. The Dems have never been big on loyalty and definitely don't reward failure. When a Dem nominee loses a Presidential election, the small mean ankle biters that run that party are usually sprinting for the hills with their skirts hiked up in order to distance themselves from the failure.

If SCJ Kagan quits, Senate may vote, I doubt it'll never be approved as it will be a clear political Leftist stunt. I think it is too late in the Lame Duck Biden term to try this. Although, while he says he won't pardon Hunter, I bet he does before 20-Jan-2025.
Kagan: she was part of Obama's legal team. Her job was to ensure Obamacare wouldn't be repealed or shot down by the courts. For her "duty", she was made a SCJ by Obama. She has NEVER recused herself from ANY ACA SC challenges, and she has never voted against them.
