An OG Republican, from an OG Republican family.

A voice of reason within the party signaling that a poor leadership choice has been made to represent conservative values. Why not pick someone with integrity to represent the party?

To the OP

If you support that, you’re a bigger idiot than I thought you were. Bill Maher is one of Trump’s biggest critics ever, and even Bill is telling the media to shut up and quit distorting the comment.

The ironic part, is Trump’s comments are exactly what the radical hippies in the 60’s were saying at protests. Listen to “Fortunate Son”

“Why not pick someone with integrity to represent the party?“

I’ve been saying that for 2 years. There’s a whole lot of people like myself that don’t support Trump - we just don’t want the laughing buffoon Harris.

In 2016, the Democrats picked probably the only person on the planet that couldn’t beat Trump. And now they did it again with Harris.

^ you’re always labeling people incorrectly, is this strategy as a maga thing or general ignorance, for the record Bill Maher is an old school liberal, but he’s not nor would ever be considered by anyone who is honest as a progressive. I’m not going to argue about the rest of your propaganda, doesn’t really make much of a difference to me. I’m voting for Kamala Harris and I believe she’s going to win possibly by a bigger margin than what is being predicted.

^ James Carville got it right when he said, “who cares about the whataboutism” His main point is true, you are constantly having to issue, corrections, or walk backs, every time Trump opens his mouth, after all we saw and heard what he said ourselves and no matter how you try to correct it, doesn’t matter he’s still said it.

You’re the one spoiling for a fight, how about you touch grass, I golfed 18 holes today.
You are some sort of an idiot I’m not allowed to have an opinion without you turning it into a flamethrower

THE UNDENIABLE FACT IS:

In Arizona, the crime of threatening or intimidating occurs when somebody makes a threat of violence against another person.

OK, let's see how she feels about it. You know, when the guns are trained on her face."

^^

you’re stretching the facts to support your agenda. Trump was not threatening her. He was making the case that the privileged elite like the Cheney’s made millions (billions?) from the military-industrial complex yet actually being on the front lines would never happen for her family

The words Trump used were violent if not threatening, couched in Trump's classic style of plausible deniability that they were a direct threat. Truly pathetic coming from a presidential candidate.

I already voted. I'm thankful for early voting. I can now just ignore all the talking heads.

I am a Republican whose party has wandered off to a very dark place. I am no fan of Trump (see my tag line!) but in this case I don't think I could prosecute this as a threat.

On the other hand, if he has so little sense of how his insults and name calling affect his chances of victory, he deserves to get hammered.
