Back from Atlanta, GA 3rd time's the charm

I went to the following clubs that I couldn't do on my first two trips. Atlanta is such a traffic heavy city. It frequently takes 30 minutes to get from one side to the next. Do you Atlanta mongers just stick to a rotation? That's what I'm planning on doing. Visited all clubs yesterday..

Club Wax
Pin-ups
Strokers
Seductions
Onyx (Day shift)

Onyx was GREAT. The Follies staff really did well for themselves. It's basically Vivide Light. I was offered extras and I expressly did not go for that this trip. DM me if interested. Closed Door VIP

Pin-Ups was a great choice as well. High mileage dances. Extras are pretty much a guaranteed if you ask around. open room VIP (I didn't see a closed room, feel free to correct me).

Stay away from ROBs like Alexis. I am tired of chicks getting uppity because they "feel they deserve more". If you felt that way you should have said so before dancing.

Now for Strokers. l really like that place. High mileage dances. I unfortunately came in when a big spender was present. Make it Rain type of guy. I did not ask, but left confident that you could get take out with the right dancer. I didn't see a VIP room, feel free to correct me.

My only recommendation is that you ask the dancer if she does full contact. I would watch out for Zeda, not a ROB but doesn't do lap contact, allows touching.

Seductions was better than what the reviews let on. Alot of pretty black women. Slim to thick, probably one of the best ebony options relative to Club Blaze. Closed veil VIP in the back rooms and they were occupied. Extras are definitely available. DM me if details wanted.

Club Wax is a bikini bar with no alcohol. It's not bad for what is, but Atlanta has so many better options, it's basically a matter of preference. Some of the dancers here literally couldn't make it anywhere else or were blacklisted. Open room VIP. Takeout is possible, but its a tough sell. Some of the women who work here prefer the fact that they don't have to be nude or strip. I am currently texting a dancer and seeing if something can happen.

Thanks for all of the suggestions. I finally figured out my rotation.

re: "Do you Atlanta mongers just stick to a rotation?"

Yes - For me, it's West to East. I start at Vivide for dayshift. Always a good selection of dancers, even as early as 1pm. Next up is Onyx. Still hit-or-miss, but nothing happens until ~3pm. Next up is Pink Pony 'round 5pm. The best eye-candy, plus the day girls have been drinking some by then and warmed up, so are more fun and frisky. Also, a decent food menu to wrap up the day.

If you're still not done and are nightshift tolerant, Tattletales makes a good additional club to hit. More expensive dances ($20 floor, and $220 VIP room, plus more for the girl's tip), but some true high-mileage stunners.

By the way. The clubs listed are separated by location. When visiting clubs, I find it easier to map out general location, to reduce the amount of driving for each visit.

Nice compendium of info, ggovf. For anyone unfamiliar with Atlanta (one of the South's largest metropolitan areas), separating these by location as you did is helpful. Makes sense to me.

You didn't see a VIP at Strokers because they don't have any, which I see as the one drawback for that club. I've had many good (and inexpensive) dances there, but you can only go so far out on the floor here. It's all pretty open.

@ East coaster, thank you. Here's a more detailed version. I included the general district of the city (does Atlanta call them neighborhoods, I need Shadowcat or Goldmonger to clarify). I used Google maps for this, for what it's worth.

EDIT: Someone tell founder we REALLY NEED AN EDIT BUTTON for posting.

That Club Wax dancer contacted me back, she wants 500 all in for OTC. So yeah take it is available but it's pricey. I'm going to need some better negotiating skills.
I had better prices offered at Vivide, Onyx, and Showbar. Not worth it. What is it with dancers at lower end clubs asking for the higher prices?

Good summary and breakdown by what clubs are where in Atlanta. It’s taken me years and rental car miles to arrive at similar conclusions. I have been to all the places listed except for the three in Midtown.

Wax used to be a lot better. Agree that there is fun to be had at Seductions despite limited reviews. Many clubs that skew more black get limited reviews.

@ Captainfun, I could do a review on any of the above listed clubs. If that's what you desire.

Don't aske me. I live 30 miles south of downtown and rely on GPS to get to clubs new to me.

@ Shadowcat, I use GPS to get everywhere while traveling. I can only imagine how hard it must have been back in your youth to travel new places across the country with only local maps to guide you. Add in the fact that strip clubs don't have the best record of longevity or public acknowledgement.

I mostly meant "are the general locations listed accurate for each club". The GPS makes it look like some neighborhoods are merged together (ie midtown and Piedmont heights).

I actually want to learn from your wisdom. I'm traveling from out of state to visit these clubs. One day I'll eventually just stay an entire week and just enjoy the clubs I prefer. I if ever find a job I Atlanta, I'll just move there and that's my ultimate goal.

What I'm saying is that I do not know anything about Atlanta neighborhoods. I did drive from SO CAL to GA twice using maps. I bought a Garmin as soon as they came out. Now I have a very large map feature in my 2024 Mustang.

I would ask that we don't start calling dancers ROBs because they won't bargain down or we think they're entitled. ROB means didn't do what she explicitly said she would. The more clear we are in our descriptions, the more useful the site is.

@ ilbbaicnl, okay. I will be more careful in my usage of words. Dealing with certain dancers similar to used car salesmen. You always have to go in with a poker face and cynical mentality. What rubs me the wrong way is when you don't do something that the club clearly permits (full contact grinding) for some bullshite self perceived importance.

I don't always remember to ask for full contact grinding, especially when I know the club clearly promotes it. It's just something I have to ask more often.

I will just say they are "deceptive" or some synonym that gets my point across.

Thanks ggofv. Not looking for more reviews from any particular person. I’m just affirming an observation that’s been made her over time that clubs whose employees and customer base are 99% black don’t get many reviews - with truly hood ones getting even less. BTW, my observation is that small, hood clubs are a dying breed. Many may say good riddance to clubs like that but I’ve had a lot of fun in joints like that over the years.

Hood clubs that have bit the dust are Arnie’s in Chicago and Dollie’s in St. Louis. I think Henry VIII in Los Angeles too. A club like Seductions gets few reviews and likely only gets foot traffic from locals. But I don’t mean to imply that Seductions is a match to the better options in the area - just saying there’s fun to be had depending on ones interests

Goldrush too. Plenty of fun there over time.

@ Captainfun, I agree with you. It actually hurts me personally that hood clubs are overlooked. If you meet the right dancers there you can get anything you want. The security is more focused on making sure you don't have weapons and getting tipped than you getting involved with a dancer.

I like the seclusion only because it means the police will often overlook black clubs. They don't want to be there and if they are it's almost always a shooting or drug related problem. The irony is that black clubs die out more often due to lack of traffic than police problems.

I go to the predominantly White clubs too. The issue is those clubs are entertainment sites that the population actually cares about. The result is that they have security that cares about legal requirements. So extras are discouraged. Add in GPS (gold pussy syndrome)that is more prevalent in popular clubs, so you have entitlement problems with dancers. These dancers never seem to realize they are in a room with 20 dancers that are competition and may be willing to provide better service (really just do the job).

@ggofv it's just human nature, that some people are skeeved out by things others are not. I guess we could start calling them vegan strippers if they don't want to grind the meat. Me personally grinding is not my thing. So the stripper that others think shouldn't be in the club, because she won't grind or cant't do it well (many can't), might be my fav.

@ ilbbaicnl, I can respect a strippers who wish not to grind. My only problem is that they never TELL YOU they aren't grinding. I need to ask beforehand more often. Most strippers don't need a warning label, but it is what it is.
