This explanation is not only most supported by the evidence, it makes the most sense to me in terms of motive. He was the world's most notorious pedo facing multiple life sentences, and thus facing a lifetime of being buttraped by other inmates. CJ, your theory that he's still alive not only lacks any basis in evidence, I also don't see the motive. Even assuming your dismal view of the CIA as an all powerful force of evil is accurate, what would be the point of keeping him alive? If he was indeed running a blackmail operation (and I'd content this is far from a "well established" fact) why keep him around?

If what you're saying is true then killing him would've been far easier and safer than providing him a new identity and risking that he resurfaces at some point. What would be the point of keeping him alive?

And what hard evidence exists to support the idea that he's still alive? There's videotapes, guard testimonies and a very detailed investigation into the cause of his death. It would be very difficult to fake these things, and if they were fake there would likely be significant anomalies. I don't see any evidence for that. Furthermore, his accomplice Gislaine Maxwell remains in federal custody awaiting trial. Wouldn't she need to disappear too?
