Comedian / Actor Richard Belzer has died.

Wow, that guy was a comedian? I liked him on Law and Order. He came across there as the exact opposite of a comedian.

And yeah, those are great last words.

He also played a detective in Homicide, Life on the Street

A very small part but one I always think of when I see him on TV... The MC at the Babylon Club in Scarface.

He holds the record for most different series playing the same character - Detective John Munch. It’s something like 10 or 11.

Outside of the Law & Order universe, he had an appearance on the X-Files as Munch - a flashback episode where the origins of the Lone Gunmen were shown

He also was married to Harlee McBride.

I still remember when Hulk Hogan did a wrestling move on him - when Belzer had his own show. That was pretty intense seeing how he almost got his neck snapped.
