A nursing home in Taiwan has issued a public apology after it hired a stripper to give lap dances to seniors during a party on September 7, saying it ‘deeply regrets’ the decision.

The Taoyuan Veterans Home says its intention was to lift the elderly residents’ spirits after previous events at the home were canceled due to a flu outbreak but that staff will demonstrate a ‘more cautious’ approach to entertainment going forward.
