Biggest wave of Cuban migrants arriving in US since 1980.

North America
About 115,000 Cubans — more than one percent of the island’s population — have left their homeland fleeing poverty and repression and reached the U.S. in the past seven months, a mass migration wave on a scale not seen in four decades that has prompted recent changes in U.S. policy and provided the Cuban government an escape valve following unprecedented protests last year.

or maybe they just don’t read TUSCL
“The undeniable fact is that American Capitalism was built on the exploitation and suffering of black slaves and the poor people of any color and continues to thrive on the exploitation of the poor people, of any color”

And the idiot democrat party and anti-American left want USA to be more like Cuba. "Oh they have great Universal Healthcare. Their standard healthcare is better than the best in the USA." "Everyone is happy. They all have free shoes and free ice cream."
The ignorance and corruption of democrat party legislatures and their constituency should be criminalized.
Girls who speak English will charge them to translate in the club and show them the hustle. A lot of them are trafficked. Promised they'll make a lot working American strip clubs.
There's also a welfare scam. Bring relatives kids over. Get the max on welfare. Play the poor victim of communism card. Send a percentage back to Cuba.
Cubans also have a free apartment scam around here that they brag about. A few live together. Get a place and don't pay rent til they're evicted. That can be like 6 months free rent. Then get a place under another's name and so on.
But they flee socialism so it's all good. Let's hate on the poor central Americans and Mexicans who come here to work
I will play along and comment on your discussion.
The impact of US sanctions (American Embargo) has continuously inflicted serious harm on the Cuban economy
But the embargo has never been effective at achieving its principal purpose: forcing Cuba's revolutionary regime out of power or bending it to Washington's will.
Because of the “American Embargo” on Cuba poor men women and children are lured to the USA because the false advertising and globalized propaganda that makes them believe the U. S. Is the land of economic opportunity.
Remember Voltaire — 'Those who can make you believe absurdities, can make you commit atrocities.'
As a means to flee poverty in Cuba, many beautiful naive young women agree to work in the USA as exotic dancers to pay off a $20,000 smuggling fees, and instead of simply stripping often times they are forced into prostitution to try to pay their debt.
It is ironic that in a country that promotes “equality” people like those beautiful naive Cuban girls are being treated as disposable sex objects.
Many immigrants like the Cubans men women and children produce billions of dollars in revenue every year by being exploited and abused in America.
It is the “American Way” of profiting by victimizing millions of vulnerable people from countries around the world.

I typically stay away but there is one club in the Tampa area where the Cubans I met offer a wide variety of services in VIP.
And the US isn't getting cubas best and brightest. Mariel set the tone for what we get.
Cuban dancers hang out in packs coz you'll get one girl who speaks English. And she charges the others for help with things.
Mariel....
That is simply not true. Don’t spread lies.
Yes, younger Cuban-Americans are beginning to reverse the trend but 6 out of 10 still identify as Republican and a majority of Florida Cubans voted for Trump in 2020. Cuban support for z trump is twice that of non-Cuban Hispanics
