I found out that a club was closing for good before my fave dancer there found out. It was posted on the club's IG and she doesn't do social media. She dances on weekends only and has little, if any, outside interaction with any of her fellow dancers. She has previously described herself to me as being a "lone wolf". She found out about the pending closure when she came in to work the next time after the IG post. When she mentioned it to me, I had to pretend to be unaware. I correctly anticipated that I would know before she did.
I would not have lied. I would have just said " oh, I assumed you already knew " . And leave it at that.
Actually, my first sugar baby relationship started this way. Girl I saw regularly OTC had her club close. She had just finished school and had lined up a real job. So she decided to stop dancing and not find a new club. But kept seeing me on a regular basis. We continued our relationship for several months after that.
