Anyone know if amateur (Monday) night is consistently good? I went a few weeks ago and it was really good but after the amateur contest 90 percent of the club cleared out. Is this normally how it goes?

I've never been here on an amateur night so I can't say.
Can you give more details as to how amateur night works? And I wonder if it detracts from the attention the regular girls get?
Yea so it's supposed to start at 10:30 but they're never running on time so it usually starts around 11. Each girl gets a one song stage set to do their best. A few of the Pl's get chosen to be judges before the show starts and they rate the dancers skills. Whoever wins gets money but importantly this competition is how the club hires new dancers.
Also I have definitely noticed the contest is bad for the dancers and I often see dancers not even show up to the club until after the contest. However I also see a lot of the PL's leave after the contest so maybe it's not as bad as they think...?
