  The case data for COVID has never supported the hysterical response. And Icey, what it does is about like the flu. Your immune system eradicates it. If you don't have a working immune system you wouldn't be walking around. We have to have at least a 1% a mortality rate per year, or that would mean that the average life expectancy would be exceeding 100 years. We know that that is not true. So the normal death rate for the US will exceed 10,000 per year. COVID has never done anything like that. When people are ready to die, they are likely to contract COVID. So if we want higher standards of hygiene, then they should be restricted to the health care system, because that is how you protect the most vulnerable. But no, we have Gavin Newsom talking about "targeted testing into marginalized population groups", and about his "army of 10,000 contact tracers". That is a police state right there! And then he is scolding us because the positive test rate has gone from 5.1% to 5.6%. Well that means that for each person testing positive there are another 18 standing in line to be tested, even though they have no symptoms and seek no treatment, they just want their name added to Gavin's list. That is hysteria! The cure for COVID is sleep, not standing in line to get tested. And now we are daily treated to a barrage of official experts telling us to get the needle jab. Mencken put it: “the whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by an endless series of hobgoblins, most of them imaginary.” [106] The overreaction of government to a perceived threat then fosters anxiety.   Hey, did you know one of the symptoms of high functioning autism spectrum disorder is: Obsession. It’s not uncommon for people to have hyperfocus as a symptom of AS. It’s usually toward a specific topic. They may have a deep understanding and vast vocabulary related to this topic. They may also insist on talking about it when engaging with others. As a result they can't except information contrary to their set views and don't recognize their own limitations.
