Is vaping more addictive than cigarettes? I was at a club recently, and a dancer is on stage with one hand on the pole and the other hand holding her vaporizer. She is sucking that thing while she is dancing on the pole. She couldn't even put it down for three songs. I have also noticed at some clubs half or more of the dancers are on the main floor sucking on vaporizers while socializing.
The only positives I see from vaping are it doesn't reek as bad as cigarettes, and it seems to be killing off the hookah rental fad.
I've noticed it too. Ay my favorite club last week there was a new dancer that I was interested in but she was more interested in vaping than working the room.
I've read articles that claim vaping can be more addictive than nicotine. I've also read it's much more harmful for the lungs. Over the past few years I feel like I have seen less people vape than I have in the past.
I can't tell you how many times I've walked into a grocery store, or sat at a stoplight and some douche probably named Kyle with a ZZ Top beard near me is sucking on one of those blowing out a cloud of Blueberry scented smoke bigger than when an entire group of Volkswagen Bus enthusiasts simultaneously starting their engines at a car show. Is anyone more of a douche than a guy with a vape box that's so big it looks like he's carrying a CPAP machine as he steps into his jacked-up pick up truck/Jeep Wranger/lowered Subaru/Volkswagen that has an exhaust that's bigger in diameter than San Jose Gay's asshole!
Short answer: yes, much more nicotine per inhalation than cigarettes. I quit smoking, and fucking hate vaping.
I was at a friend's barbecue when his vape pen BLEW UP in his pants. Just "BANG" and big fireball and blast of heat, and thia dude is down amd screaming while a guy whose job was industrial safety is patting out the flames with his shirt. Four other people were hit by shrapnel. Last I heard the dude has to pee sitting down amd didn't bother to get prosthetic testicles.
Yeah they seem pretty-addictive - for some it seems like their most treasured possession that they can't be without - I guess not that different from cigs in terms of addiction/habit-forming
The problem is tha the manufacturer's are telling kids that it's safe. Teenagers are doing it and say " well at least I"m not smoking." . I won't let a girl vape when she is in my car. I hate it.
I don’t think anybody is deluded it’s “safe?” When I’ve had hookah with other people, we would casually acknowledge our likely future lung cancer.
Vaping is nice. With hookah you have to meticulously clean it, light the coals, pack the bowl right, have the proper amount of water in there, etc. It’s not that complicated in my opinion (just time consuming) but nonetheless most hookah lounges suck and a regular flavored vape beats out most of them as far as enjoying the smoke.
Vaping gives way too much instant gratification and I know if I had one I’d 100% be always using it. So I just just resist the temptation to buy one.
Even cigs don’t offer the same convenience as vapes. You have to have the right hand coordination to hold the cig and have the lighter positioned right. You have to inhale at a certain deep level, whereas on a vape it seems more effortless. That and the smell doesn’t linger as much so you could be renting somewhere where smoking is banned—but detecting somebody was vaping somewhere is tougher (even if that is most likely banned as well)
@OP are you still in Florida? I noticed the clubs there tend to be okay with all types of smoking indoors (except for weed) Most of the places I’ve been elsewhere require dancers and customers alike to go outside for vaping.
Also, was anybody tipping her on stage? That would be my judgement on whether it’s addiction or an “eff these deadweight customers” boredom
There are no positives from vaping. It serves as the entry level addition to other nicotine delivery devices. It operates through a legal loophole. Never approved for anything. Efforts to regulate it are underway, but have had problems.
Actually a couple of weeks ago a dancer was hitting her vape pipe every so often while she was lap dancing on me. Didn't bother me. Beautiful face, long hair, nice figure, perfect dew drop shaped D or DD breasts. I dropped $200 on her. Dances had a great vibe. I'm not into squeezing too hard, she seemed to feel like she was getting a massage. I don't remember seeing her on stage, but I wouldn't have cared if she was apathetic on stage. I'd guess she easily makes two grand a week from lap dancing.
TL;DR you can vape and still have great "lungs" at least in the short term.
I’ve not yet seen a dancer vape in a club. It would be worse seeing a dancer vaping on stage. You’d think management wouldn’t want dancers appearing uninterested in dancing while on stage.
I guess I’m not hip to what the cool kids are into.
It’s likely easier to carry around and use - as you don’t need to light up - and you likely don’t wreak of tobacco. It’s definitely more convenient than hookah.
"... I’ve not yet seen a dancer vape in a club ..."
Seems there are non-smoking clubs that may not allow even vaping inside (IDK if this is the norm for non-smoking clubs as my area (SoFlo) still allows smoking inside clubs) - so in non-smoking clubs could be the dancers likely do it out-of-view (dressing-room; dedicated smoking area if the club has one; etc).
I commented to a dancer once that I didn't love that so many of them smoked. She flatly replied "If you wanted a building full of women with good habits, then why did you come to a strip club."
I really didn't have much I could say in reply, so she excused herself to go outside for a smoke.
Vaping (smoking in general) is tacky and unattractive regardless of the gender. Taking a vape with you on stage though... why the fuck would any stripper think that's okay? Oh wait... easy answer to that.
Ishmael - that’s an impressive answer. I would agree with her reply.
I don’t have any issue with strippers smoking - as long as they don’t smoke when I am with them. I don’t want to inhale the smoke - and I don’t want to smell like smoke.
Papi - I think smoking in strip clubs might vary by region. One club I attend has a side door where most smokers will slip out to for a smoke. I’ve not seen any smoking in the clubs in my area in many years.

Next time you are out West, you need to take a nude standing next to my statue at the service station: https://tuscl.net/photo.php?id=8959 🦕

But alas, I’m scared of getting a public indecency charge

People use to think smoking was just for men. Then men remembered the reasons to like women who suck on tubular things.
