This causes entrepreneurs to shy away from opening adult businesses. Since there are fewer of them, they have more leverage on both sex workers and PLs.
But the subtext here is Nordic model bullshit. Sex workers need venues, security, financial security, etc., like, for example, professional musicians do. It's bootstrapping to call anyone who provides such for sex workers a "pimp". It's like equating an auto factory with UAW-represented workers to a sneaker factory in Bangladesh that hires 9-year-olds and pays them in bowls of rice.
OnlyFans gives women a way to sell their pics and videos; it does not force them to do so. The liberal do-gooders and the conservative Bible-thumpers both want to control women and stop them from profiting from sex. They will fail.
OF is basically a safer corporate option to inatagram and online "modeling agencies" and "career management" llcs. The thingnis these semi legal pimps make money off girls too stupid or lazy to manage their own OF.

A woman using OF can make choices about what she will offer, both on and off the account. The woman is in control. Pimps do not offer that choice or control.
