Clubs with feature dancers

Feature dancers are very short-lived at any given club. The listings would be out of date as soon as they were posted.

Yeah, good idea. This would let me know when to avoid a club.

This could be useful to folks who want to go see feature dancers - and those who avoid clubs when feature dancers are there.

Is "feature" dancers even a thing anymore? LOL! Honestly, if there's a dancer you're that into and want to see them perform, you're better off attaching yourself to their social media and getting the latest and greatest on their schedule directly vice trying to use this site as middleman.

And if you want to avoid the club that has a feature dancer, join social media of the club and stay updated that way.

It's been over 10 years since I have seen a feature dancer. There were two that I remember. I didn't go to the club to see them. I just happened to be there and stayed for their shows. I did note in both cases that the regular house dancers were not allowed to go about business while the feature show was on stage.

Of course, it all depends on the dancer.

Rose Munroe was mentioned in another recent post. I had to look her up, but no, not my type. I would avoid that club on those night.

Conversely, I have met Shy Love, Venus de Light, and Julia Ann (and others) and really enjoyed the experience. Venus even wrote me a couple letters while I was in college (yeah, not this millenium). If our own Linzee Ryder were touring in my neck of the woods, I would save the date.

Also, since this is where we check tonresearch clubs when are travelling or planning a SC road trip, it would be a big help to just be able to click a "see feature dancers" on a club we are considering checking out.

over the ten years of my clubbing i’ve seen a half dozen featured dancers. some were a fun experience and a couple just overrated.

I will say one thing about feature dancers. In a usual “dead” club bringing a feature can certainly liven up the atmosphere. Features usually annoy most other dancers but as long as their vibe isn’t ruined it can be a fun night.

Now, if a club is usually packed on a certain night and they also have a feature dancer, then it can be misery.

^agree. Generally I don’t care one way or another about feature dancers but Linzee touring would be worth checking out.
