It wasn’t counterfeit, but I recall many years ago going to a Memphis strip club with several friends. We all had a lot of Belgian francs (yes, before Euros). We convinced the dancers that the exchange rate was 5-6 BF = $1 like the French franc. The exchange rate for the Belgian franc was about 32:1 so we were getting $10 lap dances for about $2 each. Full service was running $10-15. Made for an economical night.
If he paid with $150 in counterfeit bills he still overpaid for the quality at this club. One of the worst clubs in Ohio and that says a lot considering the competition.
I am amazed at how lazy criminals have become. Using bills with Chinese writing is just lazy! Monopoly money - or bills with Bill Clinton’s face - would have been a better choice.

^^ Haha, yeah those bills must have been really high quality knock-offs, like the kind you can buy on Amazon.
