My state passed the law to legalize online poker 2 YEARS AGO and still no casino has a site up and running yet. They also admit it may not happen until mid 2022.

Fucking idiots, you’d think since nobody is going to the casinos they’d put some efforts behind getting a site up and running. Especially with everyone sitting at home with nothing to do.

Especially during this time Papi. Oh and welcome back!

BTW our present governor had the foresight and the stones to get weed legalized and online gaming. The weed and gaming implentation has been moving along suprisingly quick. This was stonewalled by previous administrations. She is ok in my book.

I'd like to think the government would have bigger fish to fry than caring about whether I play poker on the internet. When I ran into a US Representative at a restaurant near my office a few years ago, I introduced myself as a former constituent and told him exactly that. Didn't get much of a response...

Funny enough, I happened to be playing poker at Mohegan Sun in Connecticut the night the Feds seized Pokerstars, Full Tilt, and Ultimate Bet. I had actually played on Full Tilt the night before. When I got home, I immediately hopped on the computer and sure enough it had been seized, just like the word going around the poker room had said.

I was lucky and in the habit of cleaning out my bankroll and leaving just enough to get by at the various sites so I think I lost maybe $20 from the siezures. This was easier for me since I mostly would grind against donks on low limit Limit tables while watching TV or chatting with friends.

Used to love poker at Mohegan Sun. In Massachusetts we cannot get sports betting legalized, so of course the money flows to Rhode island where its legal. Apparently those in Boston don't understand that for 70% of the state Rhode island is closer.

With Twin River and then Encore Boston Harbor, I had become accustomed to not having the drive nearly as far to get on a poker table as it had been going to Foxwoods or Mohegan Sun. Now, the poker rooms in Southern NH are the closest place open at the moment that is an hour or less away. I've been to Chasers in Salem a couple of times, but the tables are 6-max under the limited capacity and that definitely is a big difference from full tables. Obviously it also results in the waiting list going much slower.
