few years back i was in one of those mock fantasy baseball auction drafts to prepare for the regular season. in this draft room there were a total of 12 guys. 4-5 of them were named john this john that.
we're somewhat nearing the end of the draft. minimum bid is $1. at this point of the draft it's basically scrubs left on the board. it's my turn to name a player. so i nominate a player for $1. that player is BJ UPTON.
i wait 25 seconds for someone to make a bid. no one makes a bid. so i'm stuck with the scrub.
