United States government will approve TikTok sales to a US company, only after it receives a sizable chunk of the sales proceeds. (Sizable = 25-50%).
Why is this legal? TikTok security concerns are valid and provable. China government, and its history of clandestine operations, definitely helps.

It will allow TikTok to receive such a large sum of money because the App is patronized by nearly 100% of the 14-22 year olds in USA - and hence a portion should be returned back to the US people represented by its government.
