Playhouse Opening??

Playhouse is kinda in an odd location - per Google it's in the city of West Park (per Wikipedia West Park came into being in 2005) - it's also in Broward County and Broward is slightly ahead of Miami in terms of opening up and seems June 1st there were gonna be more openings but I have no idea if June 1st openings would include strip-clubs - AFAIK a city can have stricter measures w.r.t. Covid restrictions than the county but I don't think it works in reverse (city not allowed to have looser restrictions than the county) - perhaps they plan to have food available and may be trying to open under the guise of a restaurant but I haven't seen any other SoFlo club try this.

I haven't heard any mention of bars opening in the near-term thus I assume strip-clubs are still on the back-burner for a while

Agreed - IF this is true I have to believe they are using a food license which would give them 50% occupancy. If they are using a food license - I believe their sales are supposed to be 51% or more to open. Maybe giving food (free lunch) with a cover charge and getting creative. Pushing the limits possibly. This will be interesting.. again if true - could be an instagram hoax - ad looks legit though..

Location I think would only matter on enforcement - they are definitely under state (governor)
/county law..

I'm pretty sure you mean the "Playhouse 2" which is in West Palm or Riviera Beach is opening. They aren't the first up here, Monroe's has been open a while, as has Rachel's. Haven't been to either yet, but I'm told no dances yet. Flashdance or The Rose or whatever had strippers outside, drive through style for a while. They allegedly opened up a few days too, but I'm not sure they're "open" per se.

Anyway, Playhouse 2 isnt listed on TUSCL. I tried to submit it as a new club when it first opened back up as Playhouse 2 after having being closed as Emperors for a while, but it was never added. I almost never went to that place. I almost think you're more likely to get shot over there than catch COVID though, so maybe its safe for some. I did want to review it prior to the lockdowns, but at this point I've forgotten most anything useful.

If you're planning to go, double check the location. The flier on Instagram definitely says its the Palm Beach location, even though its the Hollywood Instagram account.

Yeah that might be a separate one - the one I saw on Instagram - definitely said Hallandale Beach blvd location - I didn't even know they had one in WPB - I would never go under these conditions but hopefully gets us closer to breaking the ice on openings. I am sure some one will hit it up this weekend if it is open and post.
