Memorial Day – one parting thought. Just as we honor our military heroes fallen in wartime – let’s do the same for the many first responders lost in the struggle with Covid-19. They, too, were on the front lines. They, too, saved lives, at the cost of their own. Save a prayer for them and their families. Enjoy the weekend. And then, let’s get ready.

That is a prayer that I will happily send my voice to, 25. 🙏
I will pray for the first responders and doctors and nurses. And for the grocery store workers who keep the food on the shelves for us.

Thankfully, for most people, the immediate risk of becoming seriously ill from the virus that causes COVID-19 is thought to be low.
I post this in hopes there is no spike after memorial day
@founder the risk is low for most, but the folks we are praying about here are people that risk exposure to help others as a part of the requirement of their role in our society do they not deserve our thanks for the sacrifice they make ?
