They never tell you what you need to know.
Possibly one of the best Musical Duets to come out of the 80s.

A little history on the song, for Philip Bailey to hit those high notes Phil Collins had to hold and squeeze Bailey's balls in the studio. Phil Collins said, "it was certainly awkward but at least I didn't have to give him a blowjob like David Bowie did to Mick Jagger while they recorded 'Dancing In The Street' ."

It just so happens a little while ago I was switching b/w apps on my SmartTV and the YouTube app was showing a thumbnail for an 80s video - I clicked on it and it had a whole bunch of other recommendations for other 80s videos some of which I listened to as a kid but didn't know the song had a video like "Double Dutch Bus" and "Stars on 45", etc - it was nice to think back to that early-80s era.

I’m a big fan of Phill Collins and Earth, Wind and Fire. Great song.

I've tried to blot out the 1980s. You've given me flashbacks.

That was a great song.

I wasn’t a big Phil Collins fan - aside from a few songs. In terms of Genesis, I enjoyed Peter Gabriel more.

Phil > Peter - my main complaint about both of them... why did Phil do so many sappy ballads and many of Peter’s songs were just too “weird.” They both had great mainstream success but could you imagine if Phil cut an album of tracks only like “in the air tonight” and Peter made one of songs like “shock the Monkey.” ??? Instead we got “doesn’t anybody stay together anymore” and “Biko.”

Anyone from the NYC area remember dropping acid and going to see "Laser Genesis" at the Hayden Planetarium?

I also love the song. And a perfect message for some of the RILs of the world. "She'll get a hold on you, believe it!"
