“The more a person needs to be right, the less certain he is...”
Title couldn’t say it all.

The Three-Fifths Compromise was a compromise reached among state delegates during the 1787 United States Constitutional Convention.

3/5's was a compromise with Southerners. It amounts to extra US House and Electoral College seats for slave owners.

Today the Electoral College is the remaining legacy of 3/5's.

Over 2.8 million people voted for Hillary Clinton in 2016.

Like Lincoln would say, we had to atone in blood for including slavery into our nation.

^^^ Lincoln was a Republican, and a conservative lawmaker uniting the people against the democrats. He succeeded and helped motivate Reagan to do the same.

He was basically conservative, never one of the "Radical Republicans". He said he found slavery morally abhorent, but that he would not change it where it was practiced.

Still, by the time he took the oath of office, 7 states had anounced their sucession.

    And Fuck Ronald Reagan!

    :) :) :)

^^^^^ The leading Democrat of the day was Stephan Douglas of Illinois. Lincoln was not really against Democrats.

The Southerners wanted to perpetuate slavery and expand it into the Western States. Of the former he pledged not to interfere. Of the later he opposed it.

Of Douglas and Northern Democrats, the Douglas plan was Popular Sovereignty. People could vote on whether they would be slave or free in the new states. Douglas kept saying that slavery would die out on its own. He gave the example of AZ, saying it had a different type of soil.

As if they would not use slaves for mining in AZ and CA. And as if they would not use the John C. Calhoun doctrine to nullify CA's anti-slavery constitution.

Lincoln debated Douglas running for the US Senate 2 years earlier. Douglas won. Lincoln was against Douglas's doctrine. And it was this Douglas doctrine which ignited violence, in Kansas Territory.

Even though Lincoln made a campaign pledge not to interfere, he had to enter DC under cover of darkness and with army snipers on the rooftops. But the time he took the oath of office, 7 states and announced succession and they had destroyed Fort Sumter.

Lincoln used the army to occupy Maryland and DC at once. Called for border states to supply troops to put down the rebellion, staring around Charleston. This prompted the remaining 4 states to announce secession.

And we know that as England and that Louis Napoleon III in France would be planning to give diplomatic recognition to the Confederacy, Lincoln would violate his campaign pledge.

And all because Southerners had split the Democratic Party.

Ronald Reagan got in because of a problem in Iran, and because Evangelicals turned against their Southern Baptist Sunday School Teacher over the enforcement of the 1964 Civil Rights Act against Bob Jones University in Greenville South Carolina.

Reagan stated campaigning post convention, calling for states rights, exactly where the voter registration workers had been murdered in Mississippi. Reagan gutted our tax code and brought on the fraud of Supply Side Economics, as well as the campaign against Social Security.

All kinds of potential dystopia's on the horizon, especially stemming from this New Economy. Trump is like our own Mussolini.

So we do need to be ready to fight back. We need more than just bunkers. And the most important first step is to remove Donald Trump.

The Robots are part of the New Economy, when work goes away and humanity splits into Masters and Slaves. Removing Trump from office will help forestall this.
