The growth of the NBA was nothing short of phenomenal under his leadership. Every NBA player should salute that man.

Stern was also fortunate superstars like Magic, Bird, and MJ, came along when the league desperately needed a shot-in-the-arm.
IMO Magic and Bird may have resurrected the NBA but IMO MJ took it to a whole other level.
