The one it has to talk about is Stephen K. Bannon, he set my alarm bells off the first time I heard him talk.

So this book deals with complex things. First, Lachman talks about New Thought and Norman VIcent Peale's "Power of Postive Thinking".
Let me just introject that I cannot stand New Though or Power of Positive Thinking type stuff, and much of the New Age Movement is polluted with it.
And so Donald Trump believes in it, as evidenced in his book, "Art of the Deal".
It is just a denial system.
BUt this is how Trump go in, using Right Wing Internet Memes.
Lachman points out that many see all occultists as operative of the Right.
And I agree that this is usually true.
But Lachman exempts the 17th Century German Rosicrucians. And he exempts Blavatsky and Besant, and exonerates the former from anything to do with Fascism.
I would also point out that Lachman has written about Emmanuel Swedenborg, and he was also a figure on the Left, and he kept mistresses.
And then Eliphas Levi was also on the Left. And there may be others too.
But this book is about the Right Occult. And lots of people go along with New Thought and Normanl Vincent Peale, with zero clue that they are supporting the Right.
