When there is a mismatch in what clubs get acknowledged
I hang out on a few online dancer groups to do what most other dancers do: try to scope out club intel of places. And sometimes places that get attention on dancer groups is ignored here and some places that get TUSCL attention is ignored online. And I don’t think it can all just be easily explained with just simply that dancers and customers have different interests. For example, in the Eugene-Springfield area, The Nile has been mentioned before among dancers. But on here, the only recent review on there is mine, and nobody had posted anything about that club 2.5 years before me. And it seems like that club gets foot traffic at least sometimes. And there’s plenty of good looking girls over there that it’s weird nobody else has reviewed that place recently.
Or for the Denver area clubs, PT Centerfolds gets the most attention, but among dancers, I can’t find any type of info at all on that club—whether positive or negative. And according to one individual I’ve chatted with IRL, a few celebrities have shown up there at times. So it has to have enough local presence to attract some kind of attention.
There’s still plenty of overlap between what places get attention. For example: Baby Dolls Dallas, KoD Minneapolis, Hustler club ESL, etc. But it’s the weird exceptions that I find interesting.
