He's wrong. Poverty is the natural state and wide spread wealth is a recent phenomenon. For humans almost entire existence it has has been a huge struggle to survive.
I wonder what he'd think of SA now, it's a terrible place to live if you are white.
In an advanced industrial economy poverty is entirely created by our society. Trying to blame it on individuals is just nuts, senile geriatric pot heads shooting their mouths off.
