PROVIDENCE -- Three employees of the Foxy Lady strip club were arrested on soliciting for prostitution charges after an investigation Tuesday night, city police said.
Major David Lapatin said the investigation at the Chalkstone Avenue club was an undercover operation by intelligence and narcotics officers.
The club will be sent to the city licensing board, Lapatin said.

Possible. Providence has had previous crackdowns. The most severe being after the Cheaters debacle. Typically, things normalize after a few weeks / months. It's interesting that they chose to target the Foxy Lady.
I suspect that word will spread quickly and it'll be a little less friendly for a while. Good time to be a regular, though.

I haven't been to Providence since last month and had been thinking about not visiting again for a few months. My conundrum is that as a 13 year veteran at Desires I will be treated like gold since everyone knows what I do for a living, but its still become the same ole, same ole. Ah well, Merry Christmas.

Realize that in-club prostitution was for all intents and purposes LEGAL in Rhode Island until a few years ago. I forget the exact loophole. Old habits die hard, I guess.
