The Struggles of willing half a Billion Dollars

They never tell you what you need to know.
She signed her name on the back of the ticket instead of setting up a trust and putting that name on the back. Now she's suing, possibility of forfeiting the winnings... etc. etc. etc.
Now I am no genius like Crazyjoe, but couldn't she just white out her name on the back and put the "trust's" name? Or how about releasing your name, then legally changing it and move out of the country? I mean with 500 million why would you want to remain in New Hampshire anyway?
Got something to say?

I guess this is one of those cases where a lack of financial literacy or a lack of legal literacy can cost one, dearly. Or a case where one follows anonymous advice found on the internet .....
You know, instead of cultivating trusted mentors or legal council f2f.
I hope it’s works out for her. It seems like an honest mistake.
I agree -- take your half billion and move somewhere warm. If hassled after the move, like the idea of legally changing your name.
Otherwise, learn to say no, lady!
