I usually tip more generously around the holidays, if the service warrants it. Everyone needs more money during the holidays for gifts, dinners, travel, etc. So many waitresses and dancers are single parents, that a little extra from us could make a big difference for their children. I do not limit this generosity to strip clubs, of course, but that's what we do here.
What I don't do is gifts. I hear a lot about whales giving their ATFs fur coats, cars, expensive jewelry. I wonder how many of those ATFs turn around to sell those luxury gifts for drug money or cosmetic surgery, and how many to pay bills and help their families.
Last week, I figure I tipped about $150 above my normal level at three clubs (including bartenders); not including paying through the nose for a couple of lady drinks.
