I agree with you regarding porn stars. The ones I’ve met - and got to know - are pretty regular folks. The stars aren’t the big names - so I’m guessing they are more porn actresses.

I had thought about going to that show a few times - a few years ago. I should have gone - as it sounds like a good experience.

@Cashman1234, yeah, they were great. If you do decide to go next year, they have Ladies Free Fridays, so the attendees are about 50% female on Friday night. Some hot chicks, some lesbians, some fuglies, some couples. It always surprises me that women are into porn. I'm told that Saturday is even busier, but I've only ever gone on a Friday. Sundays are supposed to be a little quieter as the event starts to wind down. Make sure you check in and get your free swag if you get a VIP ticket. Lots of booths offer free stuff to VIP ticket holders. The free "tantric" massage was pleasant.

No, no live sex shows, not even any nudity. TBH, I actually prefer a scantily clad woman to a naked woman, but that's just me. There was a mix of big names from ye olden days, some up-and-comers, some mid-level actresses, cam girls, web performers, activists, dominatrices, plus some dancers, etc. Some of them were drop-dead gorgeous in real life. Some were just plain scary to look at. Some haven't aged well. Others are prettier than they are on screen. But they all seemed like good, surprisingly down to earth people.

Some of the girls I remember being there this year were Katie Morgan, Tera Patrick, Phoenix Marie, Richelle Ryan, Nina Hartley, Edyn Blair, Alexis Texas, Aspen Edwards, Rubber Doll, Abella Danger, Darcie Dolce, Lexi Belle, Ashley Fires, and Romi Rain. Plenty of others I just can't recall at the moment.

I also got to meet Angela White (whose cleavage is my avatar). Hat-tip to shailynn and rh48hr for turning me on to her. She was actually one of the nicest people I've ever met. Not to stereotype, but Australians always seem to be nice people. I talked to her for a while about Australian politics (she ran for office there several years ago).

I'm not sure I feel comfortable outing the porn performers I've been with OTC, but neither of them were there this year.

@LecherousMonk, you mean Gianna Michaels? Not this year. I met her twice, once at a previous Exxxotica convention and once at a club in PA. She has lost SO much weight that it's unattractive. It was very disappointing especially because I prefer thick girls.

First I was told that it was free entry for every VIP ticket holder, but the meathead at the door charged me $20 anyway. I paid the cashier and then I walked over to the giant sign standing in their foyer and pointed out to the bouncer and the cashier that it specifically says "free admission to VIPs." Yet another meathead tells me to go back to the first area. Come on already. So I wait and they tell me that they are gonna come and get me when she's ready for me. I'm sitting there mentally comparing the great porn chicks I had met earlier with the scum bags and liars in the strip club, and after a while I just cut my losses and head out the door.

As a parting shot, the doorman tells me that if I leave now they are locking the doors and I won't be able to get back in. Unbelievable. I believe she even said something about how she hopes I'm able to find someone who will screw me for money before the night is over (I didn't). When I came over again to say goodnight five hours later, she still somehow remembered my name, despite having met, conservatively, 2,500 other people by that time... and she was still bubbly and cheerful despite having been on her feet dealing with the public all night long. What a sweetheart.

In a way, I'm glad that strip clubs are the way they are: if strippers were more like porn actresses I would be broke by now. It probably has something to do with volume and with the way they get paid. Strippers have to deal with scum buckets all night, every night; but porn stars only have to deal with us when they feature dance and when they go to conventions. Strippers only get paid when they hustle us; but porn chicks get a check, sign a contract, almost like a regular job, and they don't have to hustle much to get paid.

I wish I had been able to meet Alexis Texas but she was very busy Friday night with MCing events on stage. Bummer.

@Papi_Chulo, they have it in Edison, NJ every year, but they seem to rotate the other cities that they travel to. It's usually three stops per year including Edison. Sometimes they go to Miami, Denver, Chicago, etc. The only places that I think they never go are NYC, LA, and Vegas. NYC is close to Edison, and LA and Vegas already have so much porn-related activity that it doesn't pay. I could be wrong.

You should probably only go if there are some performers that you particularly like. I went one year because I specifically wanted to meet Kelly Divine and Flower Tucci. The next year, I wanted to meet Gianna Michaels. This year I wasn't planning to go but then I found out that Angela White was going to be there so I went. I think Tiffany Mynx was there once in 2008 or 2009 but I didn't know about it at the time so I didn't go. Now I don't think I'll ever get a chance to meet her and it's something that I regret. Also, I was once going to do an "OTC" session with a porn star named Anna Malle but I changed my mind at the last minute because of the insane cost. Not long afterwards she was killed in a car crash and I obviously never got my chance. So my advice is, if there's a performer who you like then you should go see her or you may regret missing out. These girls have a limited shelf-life and they eventually disappear. But if there aren't any performers you particularly like then it would be a waste and I wouldn't recommend it. You can always check their website as they list who's going to appear at upcoming events.

I've seen richelle Ryan while feature dancing Back in 2017 and 2018. She was incredible. Extremely nice and fun to talk with after her set (talked for awhile). I believe she was scheduled to come back to the same club in AZ in may 2020 but that got canx with the shutdowns.

Im not trying to be a white knight but Regarding the original post from years ago its all about the environment. These events are to help thier brand awareness, its not technically work for them. When you dancers at a club they are there to make as much money as possible. A better way to comparison is conversations you may have with dancers outside the club. Most tend to be far more relaxed then.

Being older also helps. smelling desperation or eagerness for sex is something all women are adept at. As you get older and with more experience most of us not give off those signs which makes women more comfortable.

Also sex with pornstars was bigger years ago. A majority earned income through films, feature shows, and sleeping with fans during conventions. Today thier sources of income are ridiculous, onlyfans, videos, camshows etc.

Having lots of experience with both strippers and people in tech, I'd say the tendency to want to get something for doing little or nothing, and to be two-faced, is roughly about the same in both groups. Porn stars seem different because they have intermediaries to get the money from you for them. I've gotten lap dances from Carolina Sweets. No complaints, but I didn't feel like she was nicer or more chummy with me than any other lap dancer. (To be fair, she did get hazed really bad in that club, maybe she would have been more cheerful otherwise.)

I saw a couple of escorts who had done porn. In that case, yes, they were more fun than average. But I preferred my fav escort who was a former stripper.
