This was my third time visiting the Exxxotica Expo in Edison, NJ. I previously went in 2010 and 2011. After six years, I finally decided to go back. Something was different this time. I'm not sure why, maybe it's because I'm a little older now, but I had a much better time than I did in 2010 and 11. For one thing, I actually spent time talking to some of them instead of just trying to fuck them this time. It turns out that porn stars are really decent people. They're nice, they're friendly, they aren't trying to hustle you, they're just so happy that you're a fan.
I spent my entire time there mentally comparing the porn girls with the strippers I've met throughout my life. Don't get me wrong, I know some really great strippers and I like them very much. But the vast majority of strippers are just not good people. They act like con-artists or half-naked beggars. They are liars. They gossip about you behind your back. You can't trust them for shit. And when they don't need you anymore, they act like they don't even know you exist. That's the majority, anyway.
But the porn girls were different. I was almost sad that I had to leave and go home at the end of the day. They were just really cool people. In full disclosure, yes, I still did try to fuck four of them, and I was basically turned down by all four of them. But they were so sweet even when they were turning me down! I've fucked two porn stars in my life and I will try to fuck more of them, but this was the first time I ever really talked to any of them like regular people. After the convention, I went to a local strip club where Exxxotica was having one of its "after-parties," and I was just really struck by the contrast. I didn't get any dances and eventually left feeling disillusioned about strip clubs in general.
The contradiction, of course, is that when I was younger and more handsome I was more successful at landing porn stars OTC. No conversation needed. Now that I'm a little older and willing to treat them like human being they don't seem to want to fuck me anymore. Life is confusing LOL.

I had thought about going to that show a few times - a few years ago. I should have gone - as it sounds like a good experience.

No, no live sex shows, not even any nudity. TBH, I actually prefer a scantily clad woman to a naked woman, but that's just me. There was a mix of big names from ye olden days, some up-and-comers, some mid-level actresses, cam girls, web performers, activists, dominatrices, plus some dancers, etc. Some of them were drop-dead gorgeous in real life. Some were just plain scary to look at. Some haven't aged well. Others are prettier than they are on screen. But they all seemed like good, surprisingly down to earth people.
Some of the girls I remember being there this year were Katie Morgan, Tera Patrick, Phoenix Marie, Richelle Ryan, Nina Hartley, Edyn Blair, Alexis Texas, Aspen Edwards, Rubber Doll, Abella Danger, Darcie Dolce, Lexi Belle, Ashley Fires, and Romi Rain. Plenty of others I just can't recall at the moment.
I also got to meet Angela White (whose cleavage is my avatar). Hat-tip to shailynn and rh48hr for turning me on to her. She was actually one of the nicest people I've ever met. Not to stereotype, but Australians always seem to be nice people. I talked to her for a while about Australian politics (she ran for office there several years ago).
I'm not sure I feel comfortable outing the porn performers I've been with OTC, but neither of them were there this year.

I used to really like Tera Patrick, too, but sadly she is one of the ones who hasn't aged well, at least by my standards. That was really unfortunate. I used to know a stripper who looked a lot like her when she was still young and gorgeous.
First I was told that it was free entry for every VIP ticket holder, but the meathead at the door charged me $20 anyway. I paid the cashier and then I walked over to the giant sign standing in their foyer and pointed out to the bouncer and the cashier that it specifically says "free admission to VIPs." The cashier explained something about how the price was $30 for everyone else but I'm getting a break, and how it was free earlier, etc. I'm like, I got here within an hour, I have a car, not a spaceship, when did you want me to get here? Whatever.
Then I tell another meathead that I'd like a LD with Lexi and he tells me it costs $100. Strange because Darcie Dolce had specifically told me at the convention that they were $60 and $100 for two dances. WTF? But I accept it and tell him I'm interested. He tells me to wait in a certain area. I go where he tells me. Another bouncer tells me to wait on the other side of the club. I go where he tells me. Yet another meathead tells me to go back to the first area. Come on already. So I wait and they tell me that they are gonna come and get me when she's ready for me. By 2AM, I'm thinking like Joe Pesci in Goodfellas "What do you have me on a 'pay no mind list'?" I'm sitting there mentally comparing the great porn chicks I had met earlier with the scum bags and liars in the strip club, and after a while I just cut my losses and head out the door.
As a parting shot, the doorman tells me that if I leave now they are locking the doors and I won't be able to get back in. Unbelievable. I swear if I were a rich guy I would just fuck porn chicks and never set foot in another strip club... assuming that I can convince the porn girls to do me, that is.
@anonlvone Lexi Belle is porn's #1 all-time girl next door. And she kept getting better and better as her career passed. It seems like she was still peaking even as she retired. I love that she never went all out hardcore slut too.

I agree with you wholeheartedly about Strip Clubs and the scum of the earth who work/ manage there. If it wasn't for the ladies I would never set foot back in another one. Low-life's All around. Sorry, but that also goes for many of the customers also. One of the reasons it has always been my MO to take a break from the life from time to time. You really get to hate the people including strippers in general, only so much BS you can take before it becomes overwhelming.

You should probably only go if there are some performers that you particularly like. I went one year because I specifically wanted to meet Kelly Divine and Flower Tucci. The next year, I wanted to meet Gianna Michaels. This year I wasn't planning to go but then I found out that Angela White was going to be there so I went. I think Tiffany Mynx was there once in 2008 or 2009 but I didn't know about it at the time so I didn't go. Now I don't think I'll ever get a chance to meet her and it's something that I regret. Also, I was once going to do an "OTC" session with a porn star named Anna Malle but I changed my mind at the last minute because of the insane cost. Not long afterwards she was killed in a car crash and I obviously never got my chance. So my advice is, if there's a performer who you like then you should go see her or you may regret missing out. These girls have a limited shelf-life and they eventually disappear. But if there aren't any performers you particularly like then it would be a waste and I wouldn't recommend it. You can always check their website as they list who's going to appear at upcoming events.

Being older also helps. smelling desperation or eagerness for sex is something all women are adept at. As you get older and with more experience most of us not give off those signs which makes women more comfortable.
