Yea! Free college!!
I guess all the professors, administrators, and maintenance staff are going to work for free, too!!
Shit....she looms like it anyway
I watched the whole speech, I waited until after in case the news coverage had any Chump tweets. No tweets until coverage this morning. Typical Chump blathering. Positive speech is beyond the Chump.
Let me say this, Hillary cut her teeth working for Children's Defense Fund. And so in 1992 when I learned that, I knew that she was good.
Though I don't agree with all her views or policies, I still say that she is indeed good.

Honest speech is beyond Hillary

Agree, not going to happen. This was a bone to the Sander's crowd. Sanders was full of these ideas (like single-payer health) that can't be payed for and would never make it through congress.
Free college! Yay! I guess it only be fair to pay back anyone that had to actually pay for college in the last thirty years. Just sayin'
I'd like to go back to college, it sure would be nice to do it for free.
Sending people to college, and for free, would in most cases be better than having them continue to do the paying jobs that they do. What their jobs contribute to society, is negative. And they are just taking jobs that other people would like to have, anyway.
But I doubt people will give up jobs, mostly it would be just making it easier for working people to also go to school.
Community Colleges and State Universities are one of the best things we have. Good to expand them. And it always was wrong to make young people have to incur debt. Actually this is what Hillary said, debt free, not free for people who already can afford to pay.
I heard that part of Hillary's speech. I don't know if it will happen, but the idea is right, and thank you Bernie Sanders.
The monetary costs of going to college are only a part of the cost. The other costs are just the time and energy, and then the opportunity cost, the cost of not doing what you otherwise might be.
Beyond a certain age most people don't want to sit in classrooms and do homework. But then there are sometimes, like life transitions, when it is the best possible thing to be doing.
People have got to understand that first with the revolution in farm machinery, and now with the information age, labor is in gross surplus, and most paying jobs are just ways that resources get consumed, totally superfluous.
Free college is about one of the best investments of tax payer money I have ever heard of, and it is a long term investment in Keeping America Great.

Time and energy, I have in good supply, the hourly rate today is prohibitive.

Is it funny? I would have liked to hear Bill Clinton talking about his story where he met a girl. Sounded like a mystery for a while. Maybe Monica? Maybe another girl.
Hillary could just say she will legalize prostitution and strip clubs and no pasties required in strip clubs nationwide and get a whole bunch of extra votes. Then Bernie could say free admission and free lap dances.
