Who was the "genius" who decided to use a 55 year old song to market Fallout 4

I've been playing this game around the clock on my days off
Do you guy's play ?
I still play Missle Command. Burn Out, the driving game is about the most advanced I got.
I tried playing GTA San Andreas, but I couldn't even steal a bike without wrecking, so I just started punching everyone, even women. Then some mexicans yelled at me to come over, but when I did they shot me dead...lol
God i love GTA. That's a funny story mikeya
One of my favorite thangs to do is fly to the strip club with a helicopter land it on the roof than bitch smack the bouncer outside lol...i then go inside and get all the lappers i can..then when the bitch demands payments i pump her full of hot lead lol
I don't know how familiar you are with the "lore" of the Fallout series, but it fits the setting.
Don't get me wrong - I love the commercial. And I saw a new ad yesterday calling it "the best game of all time". That's pretty high praise.
No, I'm familiar with the series. I just wonder how many of the young people playing the game ever heard the song before.
But I am interested. The commercial shows an old car and houses from the 50's or 60's which suggests nuclear war during the Cold War period. But then what is the futuristic suit the character puts on at the end?
Does the game take place in the 50's or in the future "Terminator" era?
Sorry - I'm NOT familiar with the lore
Essentially, it's an alternate timeline where history diverged after WW II. The Cold War never ended, and eventually ratcheted up to full out war in 2077.
For whatever reason, the transistor was never invented, but atomic power was developed to the point where consumer devices, such as cars, were feasible. Thus all the clunky "electronics" and such.
Also, apparently the focus on the hostilities and atomic research resulted in less "social progress" so all the arts and such look and sound like the 50s and 60s.
Yeah, I'm a nerd.

That guy is a genius !!! That came is the shits dawg !!!
