Star Wars probably isn't as meaningful to me as it is to some of you since the first one I saw was the one with the kid and the Rastafarian alien and that was seriously non-brilliant, but I've seen the original movie on TV and it's fun! I hope the new one is fun, but I'm probably not going to go until it's played a while, I'm sure the theaters will be packed!

I loved the first 3 star wars movies (episodes 4, 5, and 6) in the day, the prequels were mediocre and what 4got2wipe said- Jar Jar Binks has to be the most obnoxious waste of screen ever on a character in a major movie.

To be honest, I am FAR from bullish on the new movie seeing how it is being produced/director by the same clown who made a mockery of the 'rebooted' Star Trek franchise, J. J. Abrahms. Meh- I'll wait until its on Cable and not PPV.

A long long time ago in a parallel universe my family and I were on vacation and decided we wanted to watch a movie. My father looked in the paper and said here's one called Star Wars. never heard of it. We went to see it, no line at all on opening day. We thought it was a good movie. We were surprised when people started lining up to see it just days later.
