The Vienna Ab initio Simulation Package (VASP) is a computer program for atomic scale materials modelling, e.g. electronic structure calculations and quantum-mechanical molecular dynamics, from first principles.
But, there is a down side. When this sort of stuff gets into industry, it is used as a canned solution. No longer a tool, but now made into a busy box, a way of employing lots of people who have a college degree, but know very little. The computer program makes for a division of labor, between those who give the orders, and those docile minions of idiots who run it.
Been there, having to work besides work groups like that and in companies run that way. It completely sucks. But I know that in some places these sorts of software are going to be getting used that way.
As one commentator wrote about the American attempt to develop 16k and then 64k DRAMs.
"The simulation software was based on some assumptions which were just not correct. But 98% of the people running the simulations did not even know what assumptions were being made."
So it becomes more like just having enough monkey's with typewriters, and trying to replicate all of Shakespeare's plays.
Telly Savalas played the one psychopath of the group. He was going to kill a woman, the German's female companionship. But one of the American's killed him first. That was a good movie.
Before Kojak, Telly Savalas play lots of good parts.
Dougster, on the other hand, isn't worthy of wildebeest treatment. I'll just kill him and let him rot. My new friend rickthevulture will clean him up. I'm going to start callin Dougster "carrion boy". ROAR!

Sounds like this Telly Savalas would have made a good lion.
You're also looking like you're one of the good ones San Jose guy. A bit crazy but not bad for a hairless ape. You're off the wildebeest list.
For now.
