A history of strippers in New York City

I saw the topless women in Times Square recently. They have body paint but are still clearly topless. It was awkward when I walked by them with my daughter. But I stopped and talked to them when I was alone. They seemed like nice girls. I had assumed that they worked at a strip club but both of the ones that I talked to said they had never worked as strippers. Just two of today's wonderfully slutty young women.

there's a topless strike going on in Times Square? Damn, one of the few times I regret not having cable.

I guess I just have a built in soft spot for strippers, and for belly dancers too. Street hookers as well.
