What do you mean by "membership" cost? There are no membership only clubs around Louisville that I know of. However, a half hour VIP "show" ranges from $100-175, and an hour goes for $160-300.

the seems to be some misunderstanding. Some clubs, in many parts of the country, offer a membership, yearly or monthly, to their clientele with upgrades of varying degree to what the normal client gets walking in. Its usually called VIP or something like that. Its not required for entrance. I am not talking about a members ONLY place. so does that clear it up? Sounds like they dont do that in your area.....

I travel all over the United States and what you're talking about seems pretty rare these days. I remember seeing this more often per-recession but I can't even remember seeing this anywhere within the last 5 years. I don't even recall seeing this in Vegas but it may have been there and I have simply overlooked it.
Now, from what I remember 'back in the day' this was a sort of up-sell that some clubs offered, from your high end ones to your faux high end clubs even out in the middle of nowhere like the outskirts of Akron, Ohio. For those of you who are unfamiliar with this, it would be a yearly membership which would have some benefits, like you were allowed to sit in a VIP roped off area nearest to the stage, or you could jump to the front of the line when entering the club, maybe if the club had a VIP room you may get 10% off the room fee, etc. etc. etc. I remember seeing these memberships usually starting at $100 and up. Some clubs even had levels of membership like Silver, Gold and Platinum.

To the best of my knowledge, there are no clubs like that in Louisville.

I have a VIP card at a club in INDY. it's 150 a year. I get free entry and can bring 1 guest at a time.

They have that in some clubs in Houston. I think VIP "status" at St. James is about $1000 but is lifetime.

I asked about it at one of the clubs in SF, a few years back, so prices may have changed. From what I recall, it was something like $220-$250 per year. For that, you (and I think maybe your friends) got in free (useful for the $20 nightshift fee, not useful for the $0-$5 dayshift fee). You got to sit in a VIP-only area, which I think might have its own VIP concierge. And, the rule some of you will like: no girls are allowed into the VIP-only seating area unless they're invited. I think the way it works is, the VIPs tell the concierge "bring me this girl, and that girl", and she runs and gets them.
I've never seen the VIP area used during dayshift, which is when I go. But, for nightshift, it pays for itself in 20 visits (or less, if it also means your friends don't have to pay entrance fee), and perhaps comes in handy during those times on nightshift when it's standing-room-only

Back in the day, Shieks in Minneapolis had that. I don't remember what all of the perks were or how much cost. I think drinks and dinners were discounted, cover waived, and once a month or so, they'd have a VIP-only party where they'd shut the club down to the general public.

So I asked men's club of Charlotte what their price for vip was. $2,000 lifetime. Charlotte???

I was told $1000 for a year at Mens club in San Antonio. They have the best VIP lounge in SA and Austin area. It's a sky lounge with view of all stages. As I walked away the manager was ready to negotiate. A baller I know got it for free. Point is if the club management likes you as a patron, they'll be quite flexible with the cost.
If you like a club and visit often, VIP membership can be negotiated considerably from the starting price. It'll give you free entry and seating in the VIP area and will usually keep rif-raf away (I personally like all dancers - even rif raf)

If you're really looking for "membership" fees for the ckub, then don't come to NY as there are none. You pay everything every visit every time

As others have mentioned; paying a membership at a strip-club seems to be more of the rare exception than the norm – would probably only make sense for the custy that SCs regularly and likes hitting the same club.

I have a lifetime membership to the Platinum Plus clubs. I got it free but the last time I asked they were $500 and you could buy a yearly card for $150. Don't know if I'll ever use it again.

I think Atlantis in Chicago heights does something like this. You get a certain number of people you can bring and get free cover and some special VIP seating area as well.

Just got reminded the Platinum Plus card allows you to bring in 1 guest.

I don't buy memberships in any clubs. I'm in a different club every night and go to too many different clubs.
