Cyber attacks are constant. It's when they are successful it's noteworthy.

The gov is too incompetent to know whether or not it was an attack. It will take them at least a year to investigate and back-track it if it was intentional.

It is interesting to think about the motives involved. The gov got everyone all 'scared' about a potential July 4th attached even though there was 'no credible, specific threat'. I wonder a lot if this is in large part to keep promoting the growth of an police state here. Don't understand why the ruling class wouldn't want us to be scared of cyber terror.

Surprised they didn't just blame China or Russia.

If they said it was a cyber-attack, then you'd know it was really extra-terrestrials.

If they said it was extra-terrestrials, then you'd know it was really the Illuminati.

Well some sports sites could have some things go wrong as well. I was looking up some scores on different sites and they all had different scores for the same game. Now I am not talking about slow reporting... I mean one had a score of 2-3 the other had 3-1 another had 3-5. All wrong at the time.

So could have been a big glitch in something. You never know.

Also, I'm glad to hear the government is in charge of the computer systems of two Giant public corporations.

Socialism???

JamesSD - Having used a very sophisticated computer system of a major air line for 42 years, I can assure that the government in not in charge of air line computer systems.
