Another Myrtle Beach club bites the dust.

HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - The seventh strip club in Horry County has been shut down by the solicitor's office. Fantails was closed, as the result of a hearing last week, said Solicitor Jimmy Richardson.

Police tape has been placed at the gentlemen's club, Richardson said.

Due to reasons similar to the closings of six Horry County clubs, nuisance, prostitution and drugs played a part in the takeover.

In July 2014, the solicitor's office sought to close six strip clubs following nuisance complaints. According to undercover agents working with the solicitor's office, prostitution and unpaid sexual favors were being offered at the clubs.

"I guess at some point when the police have had enough of it. Then they ask us to come in with a nuisance action," Horry County Solicitor Jimmy Richardson explained in July.

Sad, MB used to be one of my favorite destinations despite only having two of the three "G's". As a result of their Puritanical new ordinance / SC crackdown my golf group is taking our $$ elsewhere this (and future) years.

When I first read this I thought it said "Horny county"! That would be brilliant!

I guess it will be a horny county now with all the whores gone! Not brilliant! :(

I had takeout there once years ago. I was leaving at closing time and the dancer yelled at me from across the parking lot. Ended up in a room in the hotel next door. She said she would tell her fiance that she went to the 24 hour Walmart after work. Good times!

Shadow...I wasn't that drunk. She was probably a 6.5 with a nice body. Hell I would hit it again today sober without question.
