So, I'm going to be that guy. The one who hits that one moment in life where it's time to get serious and he tells all his friends how serious he is being - - of course I've got bigger problem if you guys are my only friends :p
I'm striving to feel like a legit individual. So here's what I resolve to do in 2015:
-
Only sleep with as many strippers as I do civilians. That way I know I'm not using strippers as a crutch.
-
Limit SC's to once a month. That way I'm forcing myself to find other self sustainable entertainment.
-
Be bold, and be brave in everything I do. No more pussy way out for me. I think I lost my mojo the moment I started to give a fuck about the consequences.
I want strippers to be a last resort for fun, not the first (as in the last few months) and only option.
Like I have said a million times, it's been super awesome sharing experiences here. A lot of you are people I can admire (well not a lot of you, but a few) and really helped me let go of the stigma regarding go to SC's.
Hoping to return the favor by buying a lapdance for the members in the southeast area at least (as I will be saving a shit ton of dollars).

last commentAt 33, the thought of hanging out in strip clubs, never entered my mind. But now with lapdances and such, I can see how strip clubs can be a crutch to a young man

Yeah man, don't ever step into a strip club again.
People there are way too creepy and dancers are there to get your money.

Seriously man, you look and sound awful.

Ok, I'll give your resolution a month. Think that's pretty generous given how long most stick to theirs.

Eventually one of the stripper will give you STD or Herpes...It is just a matter of time.

Sounds like you need a couple good guy friends in your life right now more than strippers. As adults it's hard to find friends if you don't care for your co-workers.

GACAClub, I hope you're serious. Because if you man up like that and follow through on those resolutions you'll be a man my son. I wish you the best. And I mean that. It takes a strong guy to even admit he's got some issues, much less man up and try to take the bull by the horns and do what it takes to deal with them. Some guys would just curl up in a ball and moan. Congratulations.

@jerkoffson: sounds like you are speaking from personal experience. All
Your tough "I'm a real man and a real lady's man" talk, notwithstanding,

@JamesSD Ya I do. I moved to a new city. It's been a slight challenge meetings new people. But I signed up for some Linux meetups and kickball so that should change.

You're doing kickball? Excellent !! The most important thing for your mental and emotional health is exercise. Gives you a whole new perspective on things, and keeps you from wallowing in self-pity.

GAC I'd be very worried if jerikson strongly endorses every aspect of your plan.

GACA, sometimes it's pretty tough to overhaul your life and lifestyle; it can be pretty time- and energy-consuming. Another suggestion for meeting folks, other than at SCs: Meetup.com.
Good luck. I hope things work out for you, you monger : )
