Well I was hoping for a weekend in Detroit, but it ended up being only one night.
Had some last minute business to take care of Friday so my flight changed from Friday evening to Saturday morning. Getting up at 4AM to catch a flight and a layover had me feeling like complete crap by the time I arrived around noon.
I met my OTC connection around 2pm for a romp, and she annoyed the shit out of me (time to find a new one). By the time the evening came I debated hard if I even wanted to go out. I thought to myself "quit being such a pussy and try somewhere new."
Off I went, arrived at Silver Criket around 10:30PM. Decent little club but the girls were HORRIBLE! At least the FSU/ND game was on, but I found myself even watching the commercials on TV over the girls on stage. It was a good 30 minutes before a waitress came by or some company. I had 2 dancers ask to join me and they both were well into their 30's and horrible looking. There was only 1 girl in the entire club that I would have considered getting a dance with. I gave them an hour of my time, but after that, it was time to move on.
Next I went to the Landing Strip. They were crowded and I arrived just before midnight. Same thing, horrible girls, only 1 that I would have considered spending some time with and she was on the chunky side. I was thinking of tipping her on stage but when she got up, about 10 guys raced to tip her, so I'm guessing I wasn't the only person in the club thinking she was one of the better looking dancers. I thought, 'well at least I can watch sportscenter" but FUCK!!! they changed all the TVs to the DJ music videos at midnight, none of them had any sports on, and I am getting served by 2 guys at the bar, not hot girls. Gave them an hour of my time too, and that's enough! At the end of the night I realized I should have just stayed at BW3, at least there I could watch football and my waitress was very cute in her yoga pants.
Think about my comment for minute.... it's a sad night when I'd rather hang out at a BW3, with 14 kids under 10 sitting at the table next to me than a strip club, but that's what I felt after visiting both of these clubs.
I wasn't feeling well that evening so I wasn't in the usual Detroit VIP hospitality mood but I certainly won't be back to these clubs anytime soon. I will stick to my fav 4 - Penthouse, Coliseum, Flight Club and BTs. Still have a few more to cross on my list in November.
Yeah dude – when I have to fly in somewhere to SC; I try to take a nap when I get there if it was an early flight – that way I can be fresh and in a non-irritated mood when I hit the SC and I can better enjoy my visit.
Inevitably there are going to be times/SC-visits when the stars do not align (especially if one walks-in in a bad mood to begin with) – sometimes one just needs to go w/ the flow and sit back and see how things unfold (i.e. don’t force it) – and if they don’t turn out great; then there is always another time.
I believe it was my TUSCL buddy “clubber” whom once posted he does not go into a SC w/ any expectations and I thought this was a good way to go about it.
