CHULA VISTA — A bouncer was stabbed early Sunday morning during a fight with a group of customers outside a strip club, Chula Vista police said.
The fight was reported about 3:20 a.m. outside Eye Candy Showgirls on Bay Boulevard near E Street, Lt. Eric Thunberg said. It started after four people were escorted from the building and then got into an altercation with the bouncer and a manager.
The bouncer, who was stabbed once in his abdomen, was taken to a hospital. His injuries were not considered life threatening, Thunberg said.
The four customers fled after the stabbing. Police did not provide detailed descriptions of those involved.
No arrests have been made.
