Interesting. But "per capital property tax" seems like a useless statistic and can mask the reality of what you pay in taxes.
When I lived in Texas, I was happy to pay no state income tax. But I found that property tax rates were very high. Since high income people generally own more expensive homes, your state income tax savings could be wiped out by your increased property tax.

I'd say the worst province for taxes, is Quebec, they take almost half your income. And Alberta the best because they don't have a sales tax at all.
