CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) -
A Goose Creek man was arrested after authorities say he threatened to shoot bouncers, and police, at a Charleston strip club.

A Charleston Police Department incident report states officers responded to Jaguars Gentleman's Club in the 2000 block of Pittsburgh Avenue around 2 a.m. last Saturday after receiving reports of a possible threat.

When they arrived, the bouncer working the door told them earlier that night, around 11 p.m., he escorted 46-year-old James Stone, of Goose Creek, out of the club. The bouncer said Stone returned around 1 a.m., asking if he could re-enter the club.

According to the report, when the bouncer told Stone he could not re-enter, Stone pulled out a gun and asked "will this gain me entrance?" The bouncer told police he snatched the gun, a 32 caliber revolver, from Stone and pushed him away before taking the gun inside and informing management.

The doorman said he walked back outside to find Stone in his vehicle, saying he would return the following day to pick up his gun.

During the investigation, a deputy with the Berkeley County Sheriff's Office called and said Stone had called 911 to complain about the Jaguars' staff taking his gun.

The deputy told police Stone made multiple threats towards the Jaguars' staff and said he would shoot the staff and "take out anyone who got in his way, including police."

Berkeley Co. deputies then arrested Stone and charged him with misuse of 911 and threatening a public official. Charleston police charged Stone with presenting a firearm.

He is being held in the Charleston County Detention Center
