9½ Years Behind the Green Door (2007)
by Simone Corday
“In 9½ Years Behind the Green Door, readers are taken back to 1980s San Francisco and into the world of Simone Corday, a stripper working during the heyday of the infamous Mitchell Brothers O'Farrell Theater. Opened as an X-rated movie theater by brothers Jim and Artie Mitchell, the O'Farrell was and remains one of America's oldest, most notorious adult-entertainment establishments. This nightspot was the major force behind the normalization of lap dancing in strip clubs nationwide. Corday's memoir is a lengthy peek at the lives of the theater's management and employees, most notably her lover of ten years, Artie Mitchell.” - From $pread Magazine, Shakti Ziller

I visited that club/theater a 4 or 5 years ago. If you got money they will accomidate your needs. The upsell was intense. You can purchase anything from a bikini lapdance along the wall in a chair to anything goes in a private room with bed and sink. I was there in the afternoon when the cover was only $20, no booze. They have bowls of "Mitchell Brothers O'Farrell Theater" condoms everywhere. This is San Francisco AIDS capital of the US and I would not get a hand job here with out a condom. Girls ranged from 6-9.5. If you go there expect to spend upwards of $1k if you partake and party. I tipped at the rail and enjoyed the shows but the quoted prices for private dances were to high for me so I did not partake of extra services. Got a tour from a little blonde bombshell with store bought "D"s and she showed me the rooms of various levels. The room rental is non negotiable as the girls put the money into a bill counter on the wall of each room. The girls sevices are negotiable. The place is worth the visit if you are in San Fran. Bring $$$$$$.

That place was fantastic 20 years ago. These days I don't bother going when I'm in town.
