Not sure how to approach this one as it runs the risk of TMO.... When I first started going to stripclubs I would need try to hide the permanent erection I had just from watching the girls dance... There's been a lot of aging since those days, but on a couple of occasions this year I haven't even been able to get it up even during a lapdance. I wouldn't even be in the lapdance room if I didn't think the girl was a standout, and yesterday's was smoking hot. In 20 years, I haven't ever had this kind of issue in bed and that's all been with the same girl. While the wife's great and all, she's certainly no stripper...
So, I'm not sure what's going on. It was kind of embarassing though, and I wasn't long in the club after it happened. Anyone else have these issues? What have you done (if anything) to address it? Is Viagara or something an option? I don't really know anything about it, but maybe it causes more problems than solutions?
As a 70 yo, I can say that age catches up to you. I don't need any ED meds for a BBBJ but I do need one for a CFS. Talk to your doc. There have never been any appreciable side effects or complications in the many years that I have been using them. Just remember they are just an aid. You must still be aroused.
Maybe it's ED. Viagra works fast and reliably with few side effects except cost. But, $7 (1/3 of a 100mg tablet) usually gets me through a visit to the club.
You might be suffering from "porn star syndrome" (PSS), where pussy and tits are so routine in your life that it takes a little more to crank you up. The "little blue pill" might be just the thing. See doctor first, you could be getting ready to have a heart attack.
Regarding that prostrate exam.... I get one every time I go, and it's always her who suggests it. I've never figured out why it's such a big focus for her, but I imagine that's what she wrote her thesis on or something.... Anyway, I've got the opposite problem there!
A friend told me that taking the little blue pill 15 minutes before arrival will give you time to get a beer and relax before your first dancer. Just don't drink too many beers, two max. The effect lasts about 4 hours, but you' can feel good even long beyond. Still need to feel the reason for the good wood, the inspiration. The caveat is that this condition could be an indicator of either vascular problems or normal aging. Originally this was a product for traeling blood pressure but with the side effects which made Pfizer a lot of money eventually. The fun part of scietific curiosity is doing research.

If you are an older guy, then that question is routine, as older men can develop prostate problems & the exam can catch them prior to becoming really serious.
Ricci, do you exercise much? Doing some cardio like walking or running will help with the blood-flow part. And if you do some exercises with weights, that will raise your testosterone level, which also helps.
I agree with Digitech, and would add no self release for 45 days. Don't rush into the LaP room when you get thier. Take your time and enjoy club and stage show.
@StallOut: "would add no self release for 45 days."
Holy fucking shit! A month and a half with no nut? Even *with* ED, and taking blood pressure meds, it's tough to go a *day* and a half, at least without beating on out in the shower. I can't imagine going without for 6 weeks or more.
Blood pressure mess will mess with your wood, but the little blue pill keeps me ready for anything all night, and into the next day. A clubber's best friend if you need it.
Take L-Arginine, 5 mg a day. (Don't take it all at once. Take 2 1mg tablets in morning, 1 at noon and 2 more at evening meal) It's great for blood pressure and will help with wood, but it takes a couple days to build up in your system. Not going to bore you with details of how it works, but IT DOES WORK. The best part - NO SIDE EFFECTS! No headaches, nausea, dizzieness...etc.
I'm 50, but since I started this, I get wood like a 25yr old.
I’m only 42, but can notice a slight difference from when I was in my 30s when an erection in the SCs was always guaranteed.
Now a days, it is sometimes a problem but I’ve noticed it happens more often when:
1) I am worried/stressed about circumstances in my life
2) I’ve been SCing often and some of the “wow†factor is not there
3) Been slapping the monkey too often
I think it could just be what they call "hedonic adaptation". Eventually the same thing just won't give you the same thrill. Perhaps now even a good lapdance just won't be enough to give you a hard on. There's no shame in that. I hardly ever get an erection from a simple lapdance and I just turned 26.
That being said, if it is ED, there is no reason to worry about it. Such things happen to all men after a certain age, it's just part of life. It doesn't mean you are broken or anything is wrong with you. A prescription for Viagra would be helpful. I would also agree with the guys here that some sort of cardiovascular activity like jogging, walking, swimming, or biking would be beneficial. I've also found that eating a proper diet is really helpful in the bedroom too. Just a week of ensuring that about 1/3rd to 1/2 of my lunch and dinner consist of green vegetables makes me feel like a million dollars. My stamina increases and I get a fuller erection, which my girlfriend really appreciates.

I was taking blood pressure medication for awhile. It caused problems, but since I no longer take it, all is well, but still not like 40 years ago!

Also make sure you don't over do the alcohol. $2 beers wrecked me one day while checking out a new club.
