AC Milan standout midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng is on the sidelines with an injury, and his girlfriend Melissa Satta claims it's because of their steamy bedroom behavior.
“The reason why he is always injured is because we have sex seven to 10 times a week,†the 25-year-old told Vanity Fair.
The club recently confirmed that he will be out of action for up to a month because of a muscular problem.
“Boateng has sustained a muscular lesion in his left thigh and the estimated time of recovery is around four weeks, unless there are complications,†the club stated in a release.
He could miss eight games, including the Champions League round of 16 match against Arsenal on Feb. 15 — um, the day after Valentine's Day.
Fans can blame Satta — a model, TV presenter and actress.
