HPD: Gunman Crashes Into Wall After Shooting Man In Head
Police Search For Shooter

HOUSTON -- A gunman crashed into a wall after he shot a man in the head Sunday, police said.

The shooting happened just before 6 a.m. on Bissonnet at the Southwest Freeway. Police said they don't know a reason for the shooting.

The gunman fled the scene in such a hurry, he crashed into a brick wall outside a nearby Burger King, investigators said. He escaped the scene.

Police questioned witnesses at the scene.

Witnesses told Local 2 they saw a huge fight just before shots were fired.

The victim had surgery shortly after he arrived at the hospital, where he is listed in critical condition.
